FTC Official Email

KW Technologies would like to address the warning letter that was placed online by the FTC Website. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/warning-letters/covid-19-letter_to_the1virusbuster_kw_technology.pdf

The reason for this warning letter was that someone had anonymously filed a complaint on KW Technologies, by sending the FTC a working draft of the site.  We responded in writing to the FTC and corrected the site with the new verbiage, and our proven lab results to meet the FTC’s satisfaction. After careful consideration they responded in a formal email to KW technologies that you can see below. The FTC approved our site content when reviewing our new site with the lab results that back up our claims. As you can see we have multiple lab results and addressed the FTC in a formal email. Below is the proof that we have been cleared of any false claims and that the FTC no longer has any future concerns after reviewing our website and social media pages. KW technologies will and always follow guidelines, and protocol. I hope this helps everyone with understanding that KW Technologies has followed up by following the FTC standards.

Mr. Wetzel:  Good morning.  Mr. Cleland forwarded your email to me for our response.

You ask for removal of the warning letter from the internet.  The posted warning letters are part of the record of public actions taken by the FTC so we must decline your request to remove it.  If you are wondering whether we may issue a closeout letter, the FTC does not issue closeout letters.

In mid-August 2020, you stated that you made changes to your website and social media.  Thereafter, we reviewed your website and social media to determine whether we had further concerns specific to coronavirus or COVID-19.  At the time of our review, we did not have further concerns specific to coronavirus or COVID-19.  Regards, Michael J.
